Products of any enterprise may be or may not be subject to mandatory certification. However, quite often (in case when products are not subject to mandatory certification), you may be asked to provide a confirming document. In this case, you need an exemption (explanatory) letter – a document issued by certification body and indicating that products are not subject to mandatory certification.

In certification system, exemption letters can be conditionally divided in 2 types:

• exemption letter for trade (required for sales in the territory of Ukraine).
• exemption letter for the customs (decision).

List of documents required for issue of Decision at primary application:

1*. Application (for natural and legal persons);

2. Agreement (for natural and legal persons);

3*. Contract;

Technical description of goods, photo of the goods;

5*. Invoice;

6. Enterprise registration certificate;

7. VAT payer’s certificate;

8. Reference form 4-OPP

* – documents required to obtain a decision at repeated application

(Item 4 – Item 9 – provide scanned copies of documents for preliminary analysis)

Upon provision of required documents, agreement of price, and 100% payment for rendered services, the application will be processed. Copy of decision will be sent to your e-mail within 1 hour. Original decision will be provided within 1 day!
